WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

CAN YOUR SITE ACCOMMODATE LARGE RVS?
Our sites are all various sizes. We can accommodate the smallest teardrop model to the largest Class A towing a car or trailer. Simply let us know the total length you’ll need (include rig size, tow length, and any additional accompanying vehicles) and we’ll assign the appropriate site. With our newly added sections, we now have over 200 pull-through sites available. We suggest that you make your reservations early as they book quickly!
DO YOU ALLOW PETS?
You bet! As a matter of fact we have one of Florida’s largest groomed pet areas, plus we’ve place a number of waste bag dispensers and waste containers throughout the park. There is, however, a limit of two pets per RV (including cats). All pets must be leashed at all times throughout the park. You can find more information on our General Rules page.
IS THIS A 55+ RV PARK?
It is not, and families with children are welcome. We only require that children under 16 be accompanied by an adult at all times throughout the park. More about children on our General Rules page.
HOW CLOSE IS THE RESORT IN RELATION TO GAINESVILLE AND/OR OCALA?
Southern Hammock is located almost half way between Gainesville and Ocala, with Ocala being closer by only a couple miles. The drive is 18 miles to Shands Hospital in Gainesville to our North and 16 miles to Ocala Regional Medical Center to our South. Other than nearby Dollar stores, our nearest grocery stores are Winn Dixie in Williston about 12 miles East, and Publix in Ocala, roughly 18 miles to the South. Our closest Hardware store is Ace Hardware in Williston, 12 miles East, Gilberts Hardware, about 8 miles South, or Lowes in Ocala, around 18 miles South.

WHAT PAYMENT TYPES ARE ACCEPTED?
We accept cash, debit cards, credit cards, checks, money orders/cashiers checks.

How many people are allowed on my site and can I have visitors?
Limit of 4 adults per site for overnight stays. 2 Adults per site weekly/monthly stays. Maximum number of people per site 8 (Visitors). All visitors beyond the maximum limit must pay a daily visitor fee.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check in for RV sites is at 12PM, check out is 11am.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, we have WIFI throughout the resort. We understand that reliable internet is important, and we do our best to provide it as an added amenity. However, public internet services like ours are shared among many users, which can impact performance. For those who require a more consistent or high-speed connection, we recommend using a personal internet service.
What is the cancellation policy?
Daily and weekly guests who cancel their booking more than 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date, will receive a full refund, less a $10.00 processing fee. Cancellations of a monthly reservation, requires a two-week notice to receive a full refund, less a $50.00 processing fee. Cancellations without proper notice as described above will result in forfeiture of deposit. Daily & weekly guests’ deposit is equal to the full reservation. Monthly guests deposit is equal to one full month. Annual guests’ deposit is $500 (nonrefundable). Refunds will be made to the credit card used to make the original reservation. Please note: We cannot offer refunds for early check-outs or no shows. For annual guests, upon completing a full 12 month stay, your deposit can be refunded or applied to month 13. If you leave prior to fulfilling a full 12 month stay, you forfeit your deposit.
